Diva, Diva, Diva! I am one, I’ve won one and I’m excited about this year’s event.

It’s their 21st birthday and I’m ready to party! OK, I lie. I’m an old has-been, a fallen diva, never to be nominated again.

But it’s not about winning, it’s about being acknowledged. I only go now to keep everyone informed about the inside gossip, who passed out in the toilet, who broke their DIVA, and which has-been vomited on me! Vile!

DIVA will be held on October 24 at the Byron Kennedy Hall, better known as The Dome by the young folk. The after-party is at Kit and Kaboodle.

The amazing Trevor Ashley will be hosting and also announced is the international special guest — Jackie Beat.

I’m excited this year as I’m having a makeover by Prada Clutch! Bring on the Botox, collagen and industrial paint! I’m going to look like a supermodel.

Heaven social dance has locked in dates for 2012 and I’m excited about all the changes that are coming.

In the style of Celebrity Apprentice, I’m firing all the cast! Sue is heading off to work at a Supre outlet, Gracie has a new career as a nanny in Ethiopia, Laydee’s off to pursue her singing career at any karaoke bar that’ll will have her!.

They’re all unique in their own way, it’s just a pity we don’t get along as well as we used to.

As it’s Your Westy Divas final production, next year will see new and old guests and spectacular new productions at the Northmead Bowling Club.

I’m very excited to announce Western Sydney will have its first New Year’s Eve party in four years at Heaven, so if you’re after something a tad more intimate come along, tickets are available at the next dance on October 29 with the final instalment of Drags @ Work. I can’t wait for a fresh start in 2012.

Sometimes it’s very hard to coordinate two social events in the West and not many people are aware that our social events are private functions and are not businesses.

We’re all on track at Kaleidoscope locked in for the first Saturday of every month at the Parramatta Golf Club. I’ll be seeing red in December at Kaleidoscope as we will be marking World AIDS Day with our Red Party fundraiser on Saturday, December 3 with all proceeds going to ACON Western Sydney.

The event will be hosted by Big Red (me), Laydee Kimmee and Prada Clutch with an assortment of talent.

If you’d like to like be part of World AIDS Day on December 1 or contribute to fundraising, you can volunteer to sell red ribbons at your workplace, social event or on the day. Contact www.redribbonday.org.au

Drag gossip: Why do some drag queens insist on being paid for charity work? I’ve never been or asked to be paid. What do you think?

And what is it with baby drags insisting on being paid top dollar to perform, when they don’t respect their elders who got them to where they are now and aren’t that great anyway?

Until next time, gorgeous! Luv BB
