A brand new year and a brand new me! Wow! Hasn’t it started with a bang!

I took the night off for NYE and did the whole boy thing with some new friends who like me both in drag and out of it. We spent the evening on Sydney Harbour and got up close and personal to the fireworks. It was nice to be included in the whole family thing and to be accepted for who I was even though they weren’t my family.

It’s the first time I’ve actually enjoyed myself, unlike previous years when I spent it alone on the couch.

Many changes will take place this year and it’s already started with a brand new night in the west.

Whether you’ve come out of the closet or you’re as far in as Narnia, The Closet has something for everyone. It’s a new LGBTQ-friendly Wednesday night.

I’m more excited because they have chosen to include western Sydney drag. The one and only (as if you’d want more than one of her!) Laydee Kinmee will host every Wednesday night.

It’s nice to see they are supporting western Sydney talent, we love paid work! It will be an alternative night out during the week as we only have social dances on the weekend. As The Closet doors open it will be a breath of fresh air in western Sydney, so get out and support the new night. Free entry before 9pm and for drag kings and queens, between 9-11pm $10, after 11pm $15.

The Closet is located at The Velvet Room, 25 Wentworth St, Parramatta.

Thank God I have drag daughters to pimp out as I’m set to do drag every weekend now. I’m such a glutton for punishment!

The first of the month brings Kaleidoscope Social Dance. www.kaleidoscopesocialdance.com

The second Saturday is my new project with my new partner in crime, wig and makeup stylist to the stars (and me), Prada Clutch. Drag Time @ Norton’s on Norton, Leichhardt, starts on February 11, hosted by Prada with special guests, from 8pm with free entry.

Don’t forget Sunday, February 12 is Fair Day. Will I appear in drag or will it be my first appearance there as a boy? I hear Lola’s going to look very trashy apparently.

On the third Saturday, It’s Showtime, 8pm-late, at Richard’s on the Park at Canly Vale with me hosting and special guests. With free entry, it’s a night that goes off with a bang!

The fourth Saturday of every second month is my baby, Heaven Social Dance. It’s in its fifth year and returns with a new show Doctor, Doctor!, starring an imported cast and some regular faces. We hope to see you all on February 25.

With such a busy month, I’m sure to slim down. For the next eight weeks, I’m on fabulous meal replacement shakes, no solid foods or sex during the week. How will I cope? I need to get into shape for Mardi Gras, as my man boobies are now a triple E!

Drag Gossip: I don’t understand why certain drag queens feel the need to suck up other queens’ arses in order to gain bit of fame.

Who got frightened by the firecrackers at Chinese New Year and hid in a Chinese dragon costume and ran down the street? Until next time, gorgeous!
