Remembering the past
Author and academic Dennis Altman will deliver the 19th annual Keith Harbour Address at the Victorian AIDS Council/Gay Men鈥檚 Health Centre annual general meeting this weekend.
The address 鈥� 鈥楲est we forget: why our history matters鈥� 鈥� will be given at the Positive Living Centre, South Yarra on Sunday, October 23 at 1.30pm.
Next year is the 40th anniversary of Altman鈥檚 groundbreaking book Homosexual: Oppression and Liberation, one of the seminal texts of the gay liberation movement.
