ChillOut’s line-up announced
Performers have been announced for ChillOut’s Carnival Day event on Sunday, March 13 with the Blow Waves leading the event’s festivities.
This year’s festival is called Bollywood in the Bush, and organisers hope to reflect the quirkiness of the chosen theme with Carnival’s performance team.
“To sustain the Carnival atmosphere throughout the day there are a range of other talented and exciting performers and Drags Aloud is a great example,” ChillOut president Mike Brady said.
“They have an outstanding international reputation — even Joan Rivers said they were a great act, a recommendation that I have no doubt Carnival-goers will endorse.”
At the conclusion of Carnival, partygoers will be able to attend the ChillOut Dance Party, to be held at Daylesford Town Hall on Sunday evening, March 13, with DJs like Ms Eleni and David Thrussell.
“Thrussell is well known for getting people on the dancefloor and for his long association with the Hellfire Club. His reputation for electronic/ cinematic/ soundscapes saw him handpicked to DJ at a Quentin Tarantino party,” Brady said.
“The whole day has something for everyone.”
ChillOut runs from March 11-14 in Daylesford.
