Meryl does Margaret
A third image of Meryl Streep in character as British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady has been released along with the first teaser trailer for the eagerly anticipated film.
Opening on Boxing Day this year, the role has already garnered considerable Oscar buzz for the acclaimed actress despite people seeing relatively little of the performance.
The Iron Lady tells the compelling story of Britain’s first female Prime Minister, who smashed through the barriers of gender and class in a male-dominated world. The film also stars Jim Broadbent as her husband, Denis.
Shooting for the film began on location in the UK on January 31, directed by Phyllida Lloyd who helmed the successful musical film adaptation Mamma Mia!, which also featured Streep.

One of the worlds best actresses playing one of the worlds worst politicians. A typically divisive neo-conservative who supported a crook like Reagan and a mass murderer like Pinochet.
I bet the movie wont touch on any of this though.
