It seems like there’s something on every night at the fantastic Hares & Hyenas in Fitzroy. Their now monthly tradition ContraVerse will feature ten open mic spots and performances by spoken word extraordinaires Emily Zoey and Karina Quinn. What better way to spend a Thursday than to surround yourself with booze, books and live performance? Entry is $10, show up at 7pm to grab an open mic spot, or at 7:30pm for the start of the show.
