Canberra鈥檚 newest LGBTIQ cafe bar and club is officially open. By day it鈥檚 a family-friendly meeting point for breakfast and lunch; by night a place to party until late. Open seven days, nightly events include wine tasting, trivia, live music and drag talent night on Sundays. Even the coffee comes with an added shot of feelgood factor: every cup sold earns a 20 cent token for a local LGBTIQ charity of your choice.

A special fundraising night for the GENDER CENTRE 鈥� an organisation that helps transsexual and transgender people through their transitions. TRANTASTIC is put on by the Imperial Hotel as part of the PRIDE festivities. Doors Open 9pm with DJ Shanie D on the decks. All profit from the door will go straight to the Gender Centre. Pride: Red Hot night of cabaret
Cabaret doyennes Gaynor Tension, Stephanie Tuckwell and Stephen Carrington join forces at TAP Gallery this Saturday night, June 22, for Red Hot Retro, a night of fine vintage drag, performance and cabaret.
