He was one of the greatest composers of opera comique and I felt that Sydney audiences deserved to experience his unique approach to the text and the voice. L’amant jalouxwas one of his most popular works and is full of touching ariettes and quick-paced and ingenious ensembles. If you love Mozart you will love Grétry.”
