From the creators of听Empire, the smash-hit show from Las Vegas has taken up residency in Hyde Park, in the heart of Sydney鈥檚 CBD, and will be running show-stopping performances until 25th October.
Inspired by the absinthe-drenched cabarets of late 19th century Europe,Absinthe听is an adult-themed cocktail of circus, comedy, burlesque and vaudeville for a 21st century audience. In Las Vegas, the show has been playing to sold-out audiences at the world鈥檚 most famous casino, Caesars Palace, with celebrities like Britney Spears, James Franco, Channing Tatum and Olivia Newton-John often joining the audience.
Absinthe听is hosted by the filthy rich and just plain filthy Gazillionaire and his loyal assistant Abby Bobbins. Intoxicating songs are performed live by the seductive sylph, The Green Fairy, who is played by Australia鈥檚 own Karla Tonkich.听
