Tickets for Sydney Stingers’ trivia night selling fast
THE Sydney Stingers, the city’s LGBTI-inclusive water polo team, will host their next trivia fundraising night on June 27 at Paddington RSL.
Hosted by Oxford St drag identities Maxi Shield and Portia Turbo, this year’s “Are you Smarter than a Stinger” theme for the trivia night is guaranteed to be full of laughter and eye candy.
The event has always sold out in previous years, so organisers are urging people to buy their tickets as soon as possible.
“The positive feedback from those who managed to secure a ticket last year was overwhelming,” a Stingers spokesperson said.
“It was a huge night of laughs including quirky trivia questions, crazy bonus point rounds, a fashion show put on by the team, the Grindr game and yes, that underwear competition.
“The night was a massive success and really set the bar for a community fundraiser. Demonstrating how when a group of people come together as a team anything is possible.
“So here we are again 12 months later and the fun is about to begin. We have kept the same format but added a few twists and turns to keep the night fresh.”
