The fun goes on
Mardi Gras has come and gone for another year. I hope your Mardi Gras was safe, fabulous and enormous fun.
How amazing was the Newcastle Mardi Gras Float! Featuring a rainbow beaming from the Nobby’s lighthouse, rainbow stained glass windows in the cathedral, Newcastle shaking from the earthquake and rising like a beautiful phoenix, the gorgeous vineyards and landscape of the Hunter Valley, the pristine beaches, and the happy shiny people of the Hunter. You want to live here, don’t you?
So now we move into March and the fun does not stop.
Back to the Cri is happening on Friday, March 19. The evening will be hosted by Bubbles, and will feature drag kings, DJ Kerry, and other special guest stars. This year Back To The Cri is taking over the Gateway Hotel, so there will be entertainment in both bars. Tickets are available from ACON or the Gateway. $20 for dinner and shows, or $10 for the shows only. Back To The Cri is an ACON fundraiser. It is always a huge event, so get your tickets early.
