Pack your bags wisley
For some people travelling to new places is a time to be adventurous and maybe take some risks they normally wouldn’t. While having new experiences is exciting, just like all good scouts venturing into new territory, it’s important to ‘be prepared’.
For happy and safe holiday travel experiences, remember to pack plenty of condoms and lube and look after each other.
Before you go on your holiday and when you return, you can access the free and confidential sexual health testing service at ACON Newcastle every Thursday from 1pm–5pm. No appointment necessary.
If you aren’t going away for the holidays there’s plenty to do in Newcastle.
You can meet new people and get fit by joining ACON’s walking group every Tuesday morning at 10am. Meet at the ACON Newcastle office and bring your walking shoes and a hat for a fun stroll around the suburbs.
LLINC (Linking Lesbians In Newcastle) runs social pool nights every Sunday at 6pm at the Gateway Hotel. This month, there’s also Back To The Wicko, a women’s event on Saturday December 19 at the Wickham Park Hotel. For more info, contact [email protected]
