Go West
Christmas cards, check. Christmas tree, check. Christmas decorations, check. And finally, Christmas presents, check! It would seem that I am all set for the Christmas season. What can I say, I like to be organised.
I’d like to tell you all these things are ready to go and I’m completely set for the Christmas season. But that would be a lie.
In fact, I haven’t bought a thing. I’m currently at the crossroads of who to buy for and what to buy them. I haven’t got a clue. With exactly one week to go, I’d better get a move on.
It’s been such a busy year because so much has happened. Like most people I’m looking forward to some time off, to relax, sleep in, read a book and of course party.
Christmas and New Year’s season really is the time to party. It could be an end-of-year work function, a group of friends getting together for a few drinks, a private house party or a big night out that you’ve been planning for the better part of the year. Whichever, it’s important you have it all planned.
If you are planning to party at home (or even in someone else’s home), make sure you’re prepared.
A while ago ACON launched its Partying @ Home website with information about safety and legal issues as well as what to do in an emergency at sex parties and drug parties at home.

The best way to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s is with friends. If you are going to party with friends be prepared so you can do it safely!
Have a great Christmas and New Year.
