I challenge you to find anywhere where she did. She merely stated what Labor policy was. Yes she considered herself bound by Labor policy – she was elected as a Labor memebr not as a provate individual after all – but that is why she worked behind the scenes to change the policy. She deserves an apology from everyone who personally abused her!!

While she may now be standing up to be counted, never forget she is first and foremost a politician and as such needs to be reminded of who got her elected in the first place.
