Encouraging this kind of unproductive negativity to a phantom obstacle is not the answer and exactly why I have preferred to stay quiet on this whole same-sex marriage debate where ignorance is clearly on both sides.

You’ve completely ignored Pope Benedict’s curia on accepting LGBT and promoting tolerance – this is one step forward. You’re completely ignoring the support WE DO have from people across many of the major religious denominations and you fail to see you are insulting someone’s personal beliefs and at the same time asking for their support in this campaign of “human rights”.

Same Sex marriage laws is one side and because of such a narrow view that so many have, you don’t realise there are fires all over the place for us to put out without starting new ones!

Grow Up – your opinion is a typical one that appears on all the support pages. It’s disgusting and unproductive.

I am hoping that if your group is not already behind Alex Greenwich in his endeavour to end discrimination against gay students in private schools in NSW.

At present, private schools in NSW (and other states)have exemptions from the Anti-Discrimination laws that the rest of society have to abide by. Church schools are ALLOWED to discriminate against gay and disabled people (it sounds like Hitler’s extermination list)as it may hurt their religious sensitivity. This sensitivity is generated from their book, the scribblings of goat-herders 3500 years ago.

Please assist Alex where you can:

Many thanks

Fred Boulton
