The article is ok as far as it goes, but it would be helpful if it pointed out that if you look at the data around age groups, and their attitudes towards us, the clear trend is that homophobia is dying out. For the vast majority of young people, gay is not a thing, and so I think the article is overly pessimistic

Excellent article which clearly agrees we still have a long way to go. Looking forward to the “apology to gay people day”- but won’t swing by my vitals while waiting. m
