Queer educator contributors wanted
A book is being compiled to support queer education professionals and queer community members who are thinking of joining the education sector.
Editors William DeJean and Jeff Sapp are looking for specific suggestions to queer future educators for inclusion in Queer-To-Queer: Educators’ Reflections for the Next Generation.
They’re hoping to receive submissions from principals, teachers, counsellors, pre-service teachers, superintendents and teacher educators.
The question they’re asking is ‘What have you learned as a queer educator that you believe is essential to the success of current or future gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered educators?’
Authors are required to submit letters in narrative, non-academic, first-person accounts at a maximum of three pages long (approximately 1500 words).
Final drafts are due in June.
INFO: Submit expressions of interest with a letter focus (300 words or less) before March 1 to [email protected] and
