There was never solidarity, or outreach to foster any sense of belongings. It’s Pride events are alienating, bitchy,cold, and best to avoid. Don’t blame the paper, West Ozzies are largely showy liberal voters who rather live their gay lives under the radar, than to hurt their pockets. Boom’s over huns, you have no money, no looks, no rights. Sad.
