Victorian school ‘warriors’ unite against anti-LGBTI hate

HUNDREDS of Moreland Secondary School students have come together in solidary with the LGBTI community for this year鈥檚 International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.

Filmed by a drone, the students held up rainbow umbrellas in formation to spell messages including 鈥#notalone鈥 in support of LGBTI people.

The video, posted on Facebook, talks about the 鈥淗OBIT鈥 in IDAHOBIT鈥攈omophobia, biphobia and transphobia鈥攁nd calls on everyone to become a 鈥淗OBIT warrior鈥 to fight hate and discrimination.

鈥淚f you鈥檙e queer and you鈥檙e fighting HOBIT on your own, don鈥檛 worry, we鈥檙e coming,鈥 says the video.
