Greens get a grilling
Three Greens fronted up to face questions from the Melbourne GLBTI community at a GLBTI forum held at the Glasshouse Hotel in Collingwood last Thursday.
South Australian senator Sarah Hanson-Young (left), Victorian Senate hopeful Dr Richard Di Natale (middle) and Greens candidate for the state seat of Richmond Kathleen Maltzahn (right) faced a fairly friendly question time.
Among issues raised were better representation for rainbow families in Greens policies, a push to better tackle GLBT violence and questions about what the Greens would do on GLTBI issues if the party wins the federal balance of power.
