Thanks God someone said it Tess Emery- This is not about her being black or transgender. She HAS a criminal record in the US. She’s here for a short time- it looks suss. There are too many sex workers coming in for short stints from overseas (not saying she was BUT) cashing in and pissing off. Sorry too bad.

If an Austrlian sex worker tried to get into the US and was honest about their occupation they would have two chances of gaining entry- Buckley’s and F*** all. Obviously she’s not Einstein and it’s insulting to think that she assumed Australian immigration would be none the wiser.

How may I add was she going to chain herself to an airport chair? Was she carrying handcuffs? I will stop there. Enough.

This story makes me livid at the thought of how this incident has played out. I am very suspect on how Channel seven just happened to be there to capture this for their low-budget, low moral television programming.
Monica’s treatment and detention is, in my eyes, a social injustice that demeans transgender rights and, once agin, shows how ignorant, archaic, and xenophobic the Australian laws and government are.

It’s a Crime in the USA so she at the moment has a Criminal record.
Australians cannot get a USA Visa if we have a Criminal record.
