There used to be one Pub (The Ed) and one club – The Mars Bar – both long-since gone.
The Ed (The Edinburgh Castle Hotel ) was a great place to advertise GLBTIQ events.
On Wednesday night there was a Fund Raising Film for the Gay Pride March – not part of feast or Fringe) but only a very few – and mostly older members of our community turned up – strange as so many young people take part in the Pride March nut they could not be bothered to attend this very funny/moving Gay movie ”
If anyone has the money and would like to open/buy/lease a Pub Please come top Adelaide – we don’t even have a newspaper like the Star Observer now
