There are always the rednecks (perhaps a slightly disproportionate amount for this area of the country) but the overwhelming majority are part of a progressive mindset. Our LNP member Robert Cavallucci opened the recent Pride March and we’ve plenty of support. Teresa Gambaro is the Brisbane CBD LNP shining light in Marriage Equality and intelligent debate. Brisbane has lots of support from even seemingly unlikely sources.
