She tried to enter Zuri Bar for Cherish Brisbane, (dressed to the hilt, chinos and nice button up shirt – as she is aware its a well-to-do venue, therefore she dressed accordingly) the promoter stopped her at the stairs and said to her (wait for it) – “I’m sorry but you are not the clientele we want at this event” (yes he really said that) and refused her entry… until he was accused of discrimination (by two white women) and then decided to allow her to go in saying it would be “just this once”. I thought it might have been because this was a men’s only event (even though it wasn’t advertised as such) however Rocky told me when she finally made it inside there were 7 other women inside… So it was obviously a racist thing… nice one Zuri Bar & Dining – They might want to reconsider allowing pretentious promoters to run events at the venue. It’s 2013 not 1960.
