As a single straight man I do not ever want to get married – until there is marriage equality! But that should not mean that our family and friends who have same-sex partners should be banned from getting married, only because mr selfish Malcolm Turnbull holds a grudge against Tony Abbott trying to retake his job and using my family and mates who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, Intersex and Transpeople should not ever be used as political pawns!

What’s next? Margaret Court says gay marriage leads to polygamy, incest and beastality! How original! But that was already said by Cory Benardi!

Margaret Court Is obsessed with gay issues it seems. Just like Cory Bernardi – now there is the perfect engaged couple and I will pay for the one-way plane ticket for both of them to Iran with views like that! We really do not need these stupid, bigoted and influential people within Australia. Most Aussies in fact want a fair go for our gay, lesbian, bisexual, Intersex and transgender family and mates! That means allowing marriage equality that is open to all adults! It is 17 years into the twenty first century seriously! LGBTI people pay taxes and vote too you know!

The Australian Christian Lobby are recruiting Margaret Court, the very same people at the ACL who accuse us LGBTI people of recruiting children into LGBTI. Funny how the tables have turned in 2017. Personally marriage is an outdated concept that requires permission from the government to marry, it should be abolished – when in fact most people just live together cohabitating anyway as common-law de facto couples! Marriage and media laws in Australia has well passed it’s use-by date, like my milk in the fridge.

She is living in the dark ages. She has no idea the pain young people go through,worrying about family and friends not being there for them when they finally come out. How dare she dictate to people.It is about time we get rid of her name of Margaret Court at Melbourne Park. She does not deserve the accolades,or maybe it has gone to head.
Wake up Margaret and people live their lives. As long as you are not being harmed by anyone,it is time for you to back of and leave these people alone.

I pray for you Margaret .
My prayer is that your god is annoyed with you for making disparaging comments.
Your god is also questioning you for changing your religion without consulting the Roman Catholic Church hierarchy in the Vatican.
Your god doesn’t like heretics and heresy being committed by you.
Your god is questioning why you changed your religion! Was it for peaceful purposes and to use the bible for love of human decency and for all and not for your own prejudices.
Your god is questioning you for using your past career as an adjunct for personal abuse.
Your god is being used by you for unjustifiable and nefarious purposes and you will be made accountable by your god Margaret.
My prayer concludes that your god is unhappy with you as your god will be progressive and enlightened unlike yourself.
Your god isn’t to be used as a scapegoat Margaret which is what you are doing .

As much as it hurts, do NOT leave any comments on sites. Just email the source, instead, with your displeasure. It ends the Google “hits” on their moment of “bigoted glory”.

Hi Maggie, as much as I love tennis, and as much as I loved watching the great tennis players in my younger years, including you, you really have got my goat up with your archaic comments.
Have you even considered, for a single moment, that the reason there are more gay and lesbian tennis players these days is because, these days, more people are less scared of bigoted people like you than they were before?

Hitler denied his population free speech with violence, imprisonment and murder. Who has inflicted any such thing on Margaret Court? Telling someone they’re wrong is not denying their free speech. Could it be that she’s just giving it the usual exaggeration (when I went to a Christian school we were told that telling the truth was a commandment of the religion but they’ve obviously dropped that) and whipping up an anti-gay frenzy with the Christian crowd? The only reason to invoke Hitler is when you’re actually saying “They’re like Hitler, that’s why we must go to war against them.” It’s dangerous stuff.

I think Margaret Court is stepping way out of line now with her opinions now being more than offensive. Tennis Australia needs either to tell this lady to keep her views to herself or at least be civil – but definitely her name on the Melbourne Park tennis court should be removed. What amazes me – as a mature age gay person – is Margaret says she and people with her view are being bullied – astounding – as Margaret the difference is you are expressing your view, which you are entitled to do, but your caveat is you and your supporters do not and will not allow change even if the majority of Australians want that change. You are therefore and come under the true definite of a “bigot”. I feel sorry for you. I am a Christian and you certainly do not fit into my world of Christianity. Thank goodness I will now not have to worry about meeting you on any Qantas Flight I am on and for that matter any Virgin flight as they to support gay marriage.
