Just out of interest, what drives the anti-labor/greens sentiment for you?

“And when focusing on gay issues people keep forgetting that they are the ones that got it across the line.”

I can’t believe people are so stupid as to see it this way. We live in a great nation which (unlike the US or Switzerland, for example) does not make a habit of putting the rights of minorities to the public vote, we have parliamentary elections instead. The only exception to this general rule was marriage equality, which Tony Abbott forced to a public vote and the accompanying divisive, hateful public No campaign.

Why was marriage equality given this treatment by the Liberal Party when no other issue is dealt with this way? The ONLY answer is homophobia. But go on Liberal voters, explain why it wasn’t homophobia, I’m waiting.

Gay people celebrating homophobia rather than simply admitting that the Liberal Party was wrong is pretty sickening.

I will be voting anti labor again, But I suspect this election will see the rise of the minor parties of all colours.
