“Queensland was highlighted as the most laggard state in terms of LGBTI law reform.” – THAT IS INCORRECT!

In fact South Australia lags more behind of Queensland for several reasons:

South Australia bans surrogacy, IVF and adoption access to LGBTI people and singles, does not provide a relationships register and still also has a gay panic defence provocation in criminal law, while Queensland has a relationships register, allows surrogacy and IVF access equally to all – but still does have a gay panic defence provocation in criminal law and bans adoption rights for LGBTI couples and singles!
