Some were due to the big price involved in putting these events together, with insurance and so many other added costs which are hefty on top of what they already have to pay to get the show on the road.
I do hope we can see all our big festivals come back in full swing again though, we are so far away from the rest of the world so when we get to see some of these big acts all in ONE day it is so worth going to see some of your favourites. There is nothing better than planning on going to these events with your besties, getting a place to stay and a way to get there are all added costs so I guess with the prices all going up some like Byron Bay Bluesfest would feel the pinch and might be ONE of the reasons they will not be going through with anymore after this last one. That is ONE festival that must be saved, the location is magical and so are the acts that they bring out. Very sad to hear this.
