Having worked in the youth sector in Fortitude Valley for over 5 years with young people who are at risk of or who are homeless, from backgrounds of abuse and Young people at the highest risk of suicide and self harm, I have never heard of this place offering jobs to these types of young people – and I know there are a number of youth service in the area who’s young people would benefit from getting skills in hospitality.
So, I say, put your money where your mouth is, approach some of the local youth services and offer employment to young people most at risk! That would be wonderful!
