Dyke Kitchen Rules
The people behind a cheeky entry into the Cairns Tropical Alternatives Film Festival 2012 is looking for couples (friends or partners) to take part in the project titled Dyke Kitchen Rules.
Producers are looking for people who can produce dishes within two hours – one of their own choice, and one with a given recipe.
Asked to describe the film, the creative team said it was more about personalities under pressure than cooking, and to ‘Think Masterchef, then lower your expectations – but not as low as bangers and mash or vegemite on toast’.
Those taking part will have to commit to three hours filming in theirown kitchen, plus another hour at an alternate time to provide a bit of background information about themselves.
Shooting will be on weekends convenient to the participants in September, October and November – a different date for each couple.
Judges are also being sought.
If you think you’ve got what it takes, email: [email protected] by September 5.
