Australian comedian Nath Valvo has gotten married to longtime partner Cody.

In a post to Instagram last week, featuring a photo of them sitting on a bench on the day of their wedding, Valvo wrote, 鈥淲e got gay married last night.鈥�

Subsequently, in the comments, he posted, 鈥淭his is a soft launch, obvs. Several photo dumps in the future. ps I spewed twice.鈥�

Colleagues, friends, and fans offered the couple their congratulations and well wishes in the comments.聽

Comedian Kate Langbroek commented, 鈥淟ove love love love love. 鉂わ笍鉂わ笍鉂わ笍鉂わ笍 also I feel sick.鈥�

She also posted to her own account, sharing a photo from the wedding, with the caption, 鈥淚 don鈥檛 think it鈥檚 too soon to call this the wedding of the year鈥︹��

In October, during an appearance on The Project, Valvo, spoke about the 鈥渞omantic鈥� proposal.

鈥淚 feel that the movies and TV have made proposals so memorable, with rain and poetry鈥� doves,鈥� Volvo said.聽

鈥淐ody proposed to me in the kitchen 鈥� I鈥檓 going to tear up! 鈥� making rissoles for the week,鈥� he said to laughter.聽

鈥淗e makes his rissoles for the week because he鈥檚 a nerd alert. He was mid-rissole in the kitchen.聽

鈥淚t was Sunday afternoon. He asked me while cooking. No ring or anything, because he knows I鈥檓 very picky and I need to choose things.

鈥淚鈥檓 a bit of a control freak, and so I get to choose that eventually. So Kmart, here I come!鈥�

The two got engaged in May, posting on instagram, 鈥淐ody and I are getting married. Lol.聽

He continued, 鈥淔rom meeting 16 years ago as twinks to leaving the friend zone 9 years ago to saying yes to marriage in the kitchen making rissoles yesterday. Iconic.鈥�
